OK, I completely missed the fact that Faedo came in for Olson in the 6th. No wonder he K'd the side, Olson was st 88 pitches. They were trying to get him out of there with a lead to get his first win of the season. FB inside makes it a 3-1 count on Rizzo. I was wondering there for a second, lol when I read your play by play. That's why I was so surprised by Olson blowing 3-2 FBs by both Volpe and Soto...because it was Faedo, not Olson. I don't often blow something like that, but I blew that one, but good. |

I used to like Chafin when he pitched for the Cubs. Rizzo certainly is familiar with him, and Rizzo stays in against lefties as good as anyone.

Rizzo 0-6 vs. Chafin with 1 K but also 3 BB.
Slider low/away 2-1
Chases a sinker well low, inside corner, fouls it off, 2-2
