Best part of that? Schmidt didn't immediately negate the great throw by Trevino bailing him out of the RISP by walking Diaz, which would also have turned this into a long inning for Schmidt.

I'm stuck with the Rays broadcast, but I noticed a few times a year Flash slips in some very understated humor. But it might fly better if he’d stop speaking like a robot… Like Siri or Alexa? |

But it might fly better if he’d stop speaking like a robot… Definitely weak on his delivery. I noticed last season that he seemed to loosen up a bit, find a bit of humor. Seems like a nice enough guy, but compared to the rest of the YES team he’s a bore. Might as well have Pat Sajak in the booth… |
