FB on the outside corner to Verdugo, fouled down the left side, 0-1 Bluffs Volpe back to 2nd with the fake inside move. Takes a FB on the outside corner, waist high at 94, 0-2 Change in the zone low and away, Verdugo goes down almost to a knee tryin to pull it, and hits it to deep right, but Julks runs back and makes the catch on the track to end the inning. Gave it a ride; 101.8 mph, 334 feet.

OK, my little 10-15 minute cleanse/restart turned into a half-hour fight with Windows. Apparently, what was slowing my internet down was Microsoft downloading some major updates, which it didn't notify me of before I restarted. It attempted to install them, which I tried to block by shutting it down multiple times because the last 5 times it tried to install the same update, it ran for 2 hours with multiple restarts, before dying and giving up on the install because of errors. In order to avoid it, I kept shutting it down. It finally settled for a minor update and I got control of my computer again. I then turned off updates for 7 days, and I'll resume fighting with it late tonight after the game... In the meantime... The Yanks got a single by Rizzo with 1 out in the 2nd, but couldn't do anything with it. The White Sox tied it in the 3rd on a two base throwing error by Cabrera, a steal of 3rd by Remillard, and a RBI single by Vaughn. The Yanks went 1-2-3 in their 3rd as Clevinger struck out both Volpe and Soto. And the Sox got a 1 out double from Julks over Verdugo, but he got thrown out trying for 3rd on a comebacker to Cortes. Judge leads off the 4th. Clevinger was at 48 pitches through 3. Cortes is at 53 pitches through 4. Windows are a pane. A pane in the glass.

108.2 on the double the at bat before, 108.2 on this deep flyout to left. Nice play by Benintendi. He’s probably concerned with regaining his defensive rep with me… 🤪 Foremost on his mind, inger.

Yankee starting pitchers still haven't allowed an earned run since the first inning of the Twins series.

Hamilton comes in to pitch the 8th. Pham takes a 1st pitch FB down the middle Swings over a slider on the low outside corner, 0-2 Slider taken low/away 1-2 Slider low over home, fouled down. Sinker outside taken, 2-2 Hamilton makes the mistake of given Pham a FB waist high, inner 3rd, jams him a bit, but the sinking liner can't be played, Judge tries to dive for it, misses, goes behind him for a leadoff double. Very happy Judge didn't hurt himself seriously on that misjudgment.

Vaughn swings over a slider low in the zone, 0-1 Takes a FB on the corner away for strike 2 Then Hamilton throws an awful slider, Vaughn jumps on it, lining it to center for a hit, and whatever chance Judge had of throwing out Pham at home disappears as he fumbles it. Run scores, 4-2 Yanks. Ferguson warming.

Judge needs to work hard the rest of the season to win the younger inger award for outfield play…

Sinker at the knees for a strike Slider inside fouled off Sinker hits the top of the zone, not called, 20% on Gameday, 1-2 on Jimenez. Slider out of the zone low/away, Jimenez tries to check, can't, K, 1 down.

Gavin Sheets, a lefty with power will PH as the tying run (for DeJong) Blake goes out to talk to Hamilton. Sheets has never faced Hamilton before.
