Regnifo shows bunt, has to jackknife out of the way on a FB down and in.
2nd pitch FB in the zone up and in, popped foul near home on the 3rd base side, Trevino goes for it and is called off late by DJ, who has to make a difficult sliding catch after the call, 2 down. Not sure if the calloff was wise, but it worked.

Ward gets a 1st pitch FB near middle, hits a high fly to medium deep right, Soto goes back near the track, but the martime air knocks it short of the track, Soto is able to settle under and catch it for the 3rd out.
4 (!!!) pitch 1-2-3 for Gil in the 6th, and 70 pitches through 6.
Top 7, 1-0 Yanks. Top of the order for the Yanks: Volpe, Soto and Judge.

Strickland comes in for the 7th, he had an easy 1-2-3 last night.
Slider near middle, fouled down the right side, 0-1 on Volpe.
Sinker dives inside 1-1
Sinker above middle, and Volpe Inside outer it past first into the RF corner, Volpe races around to 3rd, the relay throw to Guillorme gets away and goes out of play, allowing Volpe to score on the little league HR, triples and E-4.
Yanks lead 2-0!!!
