Torres takes a big swing on a sinker running inside corner above the waist, late and under, fouled off.
Slider to the outer 3rd, waist high, freeze Torres, 0-2
Same pitch hit off the end of the bat, his soft fliner to medium short center is caught by Matos, inning over.
Yanks get 3 on the Judge HR, take a 3-1 lead, going bottom 3.
26 pitches for Hicks in the 4th, 68 through 4, and he's probably not getting through 5 innings tonight.
Ramos, Brooks, then back to the top for Matos for the Giants in the 3rd.

Splitter well low/away, 2-2
Splitter low on the inner 3rd, taken 3-2
Stroman challenges with a cutter above and inside middle, he smacks it toward the 34 hole, beats Torres' dive to his left for a 1 out single.

Matos goes after a 1st pitch cutter just outside and below middle middle, rolls it right to Volpe, who starts a fairly easy 6-4-3 DP to quickly short-circuit the rally. Inning over.
Top 4, 3-1 Yanks
12 pitches for Stroman in the 3rd, 39 through 3.
Rizzo, Wells and Cabrera for the Yanks in the 4th.

Sneaking in a Shawshank refernce. Sinker 3-4 inches outside another bad call, a strike that wasn't close to the corner, 0-1 Sinker outside, Rizzo goes with it, slaps it through the left side for a leadoff single. |
