Slider dives low near the corner inside, Ohtani swings over it looking for the 3 run bomb, 0-1 Fb inside at 97, brushes him back a bit. 1-1 Slider in more or less the same spot a bit higher and Ohtani hammers it down 1st, but Rizzo makes the play backing up, then beats Ohtani to the bag, inning over. Bottom 10, 0-0 Grisham, Trevino and Volpe due in. DJ or a pinch runner, maybe Jones? Do you have Grisham bunt? |

Grove is usually a middle releiver, throws hard, command suspect. pitching much better out of the pen this year than he did as a starter last season.

And after that bunt attempt, they take it off, he takes a FB low, 1-1 Inside move pickoff attempt, Jones gets back. Shows bunt, takes it way low, Jones way off 2nd, Smith almost throws down on him, 2-1 |
