Another cheap left-center field Yankee Stadium home run. Kahnle deserved that.

T. Hernandez is giving the Dodgers what Rizzo and Gleyber are supposed to be giving the Yankees. Really good support to their elite players.

I don't like him throwing 94-5. He needs to be 96-7 to have enough separation from the change. separation?? doesn't matter what the separation is when you throw 5 straight changes.

Just one of those nights. Verdugo even misjudged a ball and failed to catch a foul into the corner…

Pages... FB down the middle, 0-1 Cutter outside, 1-1 Cutter bounced outside 2-1 Slider low in the zone, fouled, 2-2 They gave them maybe 2 extra outs, Smoltz, the booted grounder by Gleyber and the tough catch Verdugo didn't make on Smith's foul fly before the walk loaded the bases for Henrnandez Looper falls foul back of 3rd, 2-2 Fb inside fouled, Slider near the low outside corner fouled Change outside middle fouled FB inside middle fouled. Can't finish him off. Sinker inside fouled off. Smoltz: if Santana's stuff is so good, why can't he get any of his pitches by Pages, who has a fairly high K rate?

FB inside, popped to short left center, Volpe goes back and catches, 2 down.

Well, he's also at 30 pitches, but if he throws 96-7, Teoscar has to start the bat faster and can't just sit on the change with 2 strikes.

He looked safe but no one cares.

Rojas was safe, unless glove strings count…

Rojas takes a FB at the knees, 0-1 Slider low and away, 1-1 Sinker on the corner inside above the waist, belted hard to left, over Verdugo he plays it well off the wall, fires back into 2nd and Volpe's tag is barely in time, a matter of an inch or two. Well, at least they're still playing, down by 6, didn't just concede that double.
Bottom 7, 8-2 Dodgers. Rizzo, Torres and LeMahieu.

He looked safe but no one cares. Dodgers didn't bother to challenge, but you and inger might be right. Not 100% sure, myself.

He looked safe but no one cares. I thought so, too, at first. Think the tag gets his forearm before the hand actually touches the bag
