Finally, Soto with an opposite field home run. Soto is definitely the smartest hitter on this team.

Greetings, teammates. Not the score I wanted to see. Looks like Rodon got touched up early. Surprised he went 5 innings, but was probably needed to not stretch the bullpen too thin again. Let's get some runs.

Time for Verdugo to piss off Red Sox fans again.

17 in 5 innings? That's not even possible. You can only leave three on base per inning max. That's not how men left on base is calculated for hitters.  If you come up with the bases loaded and strike out, you've left three men on base.  If I come up behind you and strikeout, I've left three men on base.  If Inger comes up and pops out, he has left three men on base.  Three opportunities and nine men left on base total.  Inger hit a double… they all scored…

Judge breaks his bat on a cutter away off the end of the bat, the flare over first falls in for a hit, Judge at first, and again they bring the tying run to the plate, and again, it's Verdugo, this time with 2 down. The Sox bring the lefty, Bernadino, into the game to face Verdugo.

Verdugo has never faced Bernadino. Mostly sinker (51%) and curve (34%), 91 on the sinker and 79 on the curve
Sinker outside, ball 1. Sinker hits the low outside corner, 1-1 Sinker down the middle, topped to Rafaela, he takes it to the bag to force Judge and end the inning.
Bottom 7, 5-3 Sox
Devers, Wong and Yoshida for the Sox, not sure who'll pitch for the Yanks.

Marinaccio stays in to start the 7th.
Slider backs up and away, 1-0 Fb above middle, takes a huge hack, fouls it off, 1-1 Slider bounced down and in and he skips rope a bit, 2-1 Change yanked inside, 3-1 Fb misses outside, maybe, near the top, called strike 2. 0% on Gamdaty, missed by an inch. FB about 3-4 inches high on the outer half, popped toward the corner, Soto back near the Monster, catches, 1 down.

Wong takes a FB in the zone up and in, 0-1 Slider into the top of the zone, 0-2 Chases a slider low, K, 2 down.
And NO, he wouldn't lead all of MLB with enough PA, because Steven Kwan would if he had enough PA, he's at .377.
