Takes a FB on the inner 3rd, above the waist, at 94, 1-1
Bounces the change on the inner half, 2-1
Swings under a FB up in the zone, barely on the corner away, 2-2
Bad slider stays waist high, and inner 3rd, fouled straight back. Lucky there.
Another slider down the middle, thigh high, pulled hard down 3rd, but Lemahieu lunges to his left to grab, wheels around and throws him out, inning over.
Top 4, 5-2 Sox.
14 pitch 1-2-3 for Rodon, 78 through 3. We'll find out if he's really settled down next inning against the top of the Sox order.
Stanton, Rizzo and Torres for the Yanks in the 4th.

Change waist high, inside corner, AND NOT DOWN THE MIDDLE, SMOLTZ, pulled through the left side for a leadoff single for Stanton.

That pitch looked like it went around the plate, which is why Wells wasn't happy with the call.

Slider starts outside, probably got a tiny piece of the low/outside corner, the ump rings him up for the ꓘ. Wells disputes the call, Gameday says 5%, so marginal call at best. Even statcast K zone says less than 10%.
