FB into the top of the zone in the middle, Soto misses it clean, and he's just not seeing it off this guy. He never misses that pitch clean.
Change misses just outside, waist high, 3-1. Well he saw that change well enough to take it.

Change outside, but O'Hearn yanks it into the corner in right, goes to the wall, Mateo scores walking home Mountcastle held at 3rd as Soto gets it in quickly, 4-1 O's on the RBI double by O'Hearn. Kay says Santander is a "big batter in this game". Maybe. Maybe this one is over already. I think we're capable of overcoming a 4-1 deficit, but I have almost zero confidence in this bullpen to not surrender a couple/few more runs. Especially against this lineup. |
