Fb hits the corner away, above the waist, 50-50 on Gameday, not called, very bad call, 1-1
Fb outside thigh high, 2-1
FB in the zone low/away near where the first one was, but he misses late and under, pops to DJ near the coaching box foul off 3rd, 2 down.

Terrible FB waist high, inner 3rd, and he jumps all over it, belts it well out to left, solo HR cuts the Yankee lead to 3, 7-4.

Bichette takes a sinker thigh high, outside middle for a strike
Slider about 6 inches low, outside middle, but Bichette smokes it down 3rd, DJ makes a great stop with a lunge to his backhand, sets and throw rapidly and gets Bichette by a couple of steps, inning over.
Top 7, 7-4 Yanks.
Jones, then back to the top for Volpe and Soto.

Genesis Cabrera in for the Jays, he throws hard if I remember right. Avg FB is 95.6 this season, so hard, but not HARD.
Jones takes a curve on the backdoor near the top, 0-1
Change misses low on the outer half, 1-1
Swings over a change diving just low in the middle, 1-2
Chases a 97 FB tailing just up and away, K, 1 down.

I admire him for trying and for wanting to be a Yankee… He didn’t have the range for SS or CF… He was a good third basemen. In fact, he would be starting at third on this team. |

Volpe takes a change low near the corner away, 1-0
FB just outside above the knees, fouls it off to the right, 1-1
Cutter winds up down the middle, but Volpe misses under it, 1-2
Cutter on the low outside corner, but instead of going to right with it, he pulls it to Bichette, the throw is high, but Guerrero tags Volpe as he goes by for out #2.

Slider up and in starts at his head, he pulls out of the way as it nearly breaks back to the high inside corner, 1-0
Fb inside below the waist makes him back up rapidly, 2-0
Cutter on the corner away, rolled to the right side, Guerrero comes well off 1st to field flips behind him to Cabrera, who beats Soto husting own the line by a long lunge. Inning over.
Bottom 7, 7-4 Yanks. Tonkin probably not going back out there for a 3rd up and down. He's already at 20 pitches.
