And that's it for Stroman, the lefty Hill coming in to try to get a DP grounder from the lefty J. Lowe.
More dangerous strategy on the turf that it is on grass.
Stroman done after 4 1/3 and 84 pitches. You can't pitch long in MLB nowadays if your stuff can't get swings and misses in the zone. Long-term rotation problem, especially if Rodon can't get his head out.

Awful fifth inning from Stroman. Not having any swings and miss pitching in the zone is a possibly unsolvable problem for him. Teams have stopped chasing his junk out of the zone. |

It really is amazing how running to first to stay out of the double play can impact a game. Maybe the Yankee brain trust can get some ideas.
