FB above middle, he doesn't try to pull, and fouls it off, 97 on that FB.
Judge goes, but the call on the FB outside on 2-0 forces a swing with 2 strikes on a similar FB just outside, fouls it off.

FB at the top outside corenr, driven to deep left, but Kjerstad gets the jump and hauls it in. Good hit, but not good enough.
1st and 2nd, 2 down for Volpe.

Curve hangs inside middle, and Volpe hits it pretty hard toward the 56 hole, but Urias dives to his left to grab it, gets to his knees, throws to 2nd for the force, inning over. Another opportunity wasted, but at least Verdugo and Volpe made good tries at it. 100mph on Verdugo's fliner, 96 on the Volpe grounder.
Bottom 8, 3-1 Yanks. Weaver will come in to face Rutschman, Santander and O'Hearn.

O'Hearn is 1-2 with a RBI vs. Weaver.
Cutter up and in on the 1st pitch, pulled to the right of 2nd, Volpe is playing that way, goes to his left, fields and throws him out, inning over.
6 pitch 1-2-3 makes it very tempting to leave Weaver in to start the 9th, but Boone won't do it unless the Yanks add 2 runs or so.
Top 9, 3-1 Yanks.
Trevino, Jones and back to the top for LeMahieu, so 3 #9 hitters due for the Yanks.
