back from an extended trip to Alaska....not much Yankee news available there...why is Torres hitting 9th?

I never get too up in arms about the batting order. Only thing that I don't understand is hitting the pitcher 8th

He should be moved up in the order. I think Boone is just trying to keep the pressure off Torres by hitting him at the bottom of the order, so he doesn't try to do too much too soon.
