Change down the middle, Soto probably hurt the hand again, swing over it very hard. 1-1
Slider above and inside middle, Soto shoots for the Monster, misses under, pops to Refsnyder in shortish left center, 2 down.

FB at the top in the middle, swung under, 0-1
FB a bit up and in straightens Devers up, 1-1
Slider well low/away 2-1
Fb misses just below the outside corner, but Wendlestedt thinks it's a strike, 2-2. Didn't miss by much, but it missed. Eh, I'll take it.
Sidearm FB well high, inner 3rd, Devers doesn't flnch, ball 3.
FB misses low/away by 3-4 inches, not "close" as Kay said, ball 4.

FB misses low inside middle, 3-1
Big danger pitch here.
Bad cutter waist high, outer 3rd, rifled like a shot past Cabrera's lunge to his left, gets into the corner, Soto digs it up, and fires to 2nd, but O'Neill beats it for a double.
2nd and 3rd, nobody out for Yoshida.

FB with "a lot of life" on the corner away, sinking liner to center, Grisham charges hard and makes a diving catch, saving a run. Devers scoresx, but O"meill hestitated to make sure it wasn't caught, has to go back to 2nd, 4-3 Sox.
