He did a great job yesterday after the first inning blip...To me, that was a huge step in the right direction...9 Ks in 6 innings...he had it going... He certainly has major league swing and miss stuff. The quesiton is will the Yankees be patient enough for him to work through his issues. I think they have to be. He's too talented and has shown that he doesn't wilt after falling behind. Robertson got the win, but German put up zeros for five straight innings, giving the offense a chance to respond. If German gives the Yankees six innings of three run ball every start (not unreasonable for him to post a 4.50 ERA), he will win a lot of games with the Yankees offense. Also, his problems appear to be mecanical or even simply rhythmic (possibly over eager). When he is too quick to the plate, his fastball command suffers and his breaking stuff flattens out. We've seen this in the past from Chad Green. When German loads appropriately or gathers himself on time, he can just mow down hitters and make it look easy. |

Without a trade or maybe even two in the immediate future, they may be forced into being patient. I know if I were in charge the way he turned around in this start would make me take notice. He hasn't been that far off in some of these outings. The runs have looked ugly, but he's been oh so close to figuring this thing out and then...something happens...and things unravel... LOL, I posted before I read Rizzuto. He was more detailed than I was, but obviously we agree that the situation may help him get a few more opportunities... |

If the Yankees are smart... which I tend to think they are... they'll be patient with him. They can still win while he improves. It would be foolish to give up on him... Good luck getting either pitcher from the Mets. And I believe if we do swing a trade for a good pitcher (not Hamels) we'll probably part with German (and I'm regret it unless we win the WS this season)

Hamels wife is hot. We should come up with a rotation with only pitchers with hot wives. You got Hamels... I vote Brandon McCarthy. I know someone will pick Verlander. Who else makes the cut?

First, a word about breasts. Any of these ladies that have been augmented in that area should be eliminated from the competition (I spotted a few that didn't look too natural). I'm not a fan of the rubber-titty club...I don't think they have to be big to look very nice. It's more about the rack they're hung on, nipple position and shape, and how they "present" themselves, if you will. Ms. Upton is indeed rather supernatural in that department, though I would expect that when the time comes for gravity to start taking it's toll, she'll have some work done and they'll be up to her ear lobes...
