Hill in for another inning, because, basically, Boone has no choice.
Sinker outside, ball 1 Sinker outside, ball 2. Sinker on the low outside corner, tapped to Torres, throws out Baldwin, 1 down.

Great play by Volpe to end the inning. Maybe that will give them a spark?

Sosa takes a sinker at the knnes, outside middle, 0-1 Takes a sinker at the knees, right down the middle, strike 2. Takes his timeout Sinker in the zone down and in, fouled off. FB in the zone up and away, hit hard toward short, Volpe goes back on the grass to backhand the hard hop, and he spins to the ground, gets up, wheels the rest of the way around, throws him out, inning over. Top 7, 5-2 White Sox. 8 pitch 1-2-3 for Hill, 27 through 2.
Wells, Torres and Chisholm for the Yanks in the 7th.

Wells... Takes a splitter on the low outside corner, 0-1 Takes a splitter bounced inside, 1-1 Sinker at the knees outside middle, Wells pulls it to the right of 2nd, past a diving Lopez for a leadoff single.
That's it for Toussaint. Justin Anderson in to pitch for Chicago.

Can someone tell me why yesterday (Sunday) the White Sox had an off day? They are clearly the better rested team...2 days off, while the Yankees had to fly to Chicago after a slugfest vs. Texas yesterday! I've never heard of any other MLB team having Sunday off unless the game was rained out.

Chisholm out, Rice pinch hitting. Hurt himself sliding? Takes a waist high FB on the corner away, 0-1 Cutter in the middle above the waist, misses late and under, pops foul off 3rd, Sosa catches, 2 down. Volpe up.
