I don't know how many of the 11 blown saves resulted in losses. Assuming it was all 11 then that is 11 out of 59 losses attributed to Holmes? But then I do remember some of the losses were because of very poor fielding!!! Just a thought..

Boone was trashed for saying Holmes has often been the victim of "soft contact" which, of course, is the truth. What drives me crazy about him or any other relief pitcher, is the walks. He gave up 2 walks in the 9th last night.

They also have 8 losses when they have the lead in the 9th inning or later, probably all the Holmes disasters.
