The hypocrisy in the game of baseball is something else...take that strike 3 on the Martian...Now as a rookie, it's called a strike...but when he finally becomes the next Mike Trout, it'll become ball 4. And so it goes.

Volpe works the count to 2-2...
Slider away, he pops it foul off 1st, but it just gets out of play.
Cutter right down the middle, and he tries to pull it for power, and misses under, fouls it off. Missed a cookie, Anthony.
Crawford comes set, then steps off.
Volpe opens up early on the cutter going well outside, misses by plenty for the K, inning over.

Gonazlez takes a curve low, then tops a FB up in the zone, grounded to Volpe, throws him out, 1 down.

Foul tips a FB above the zone, inner half, 1-2
Chases a FB high near middle, fouls it.
Takes his timeout.
Change in the zone down and in, pulled foul off 3rd
Humps up to 98, but flies open a bit, missing well high and a bit outside, 2-2
FB inner 3rd at 97 below the waist, late and under popped foul out of play.
Change to the knees, gets a piece to stay alive.
O'Neill working a long at bat against Rodon here.
FB about 4 inches high, above the top, outside middle, and he gets to it anyway, belts it out to left, 2-run HR makes it a game again, 4-2 Yanks.

Slider outside that taken, 1-2
Slider waist high, 3 inches outside, big swing flare off the end of the bat, Judge gets a late read, has no shot, falls in for single, and Rodon in big trouble all of a sudden. 1st and 2nd, 1 out for Story.
