Unfortunately we can’t trust him in a high pressure situation. Too many blown saves. Tonight he gave up a game tying HR. Early on I thought we found our closer but I’m not sure he has the disposition for that. Kahnle?

I think they're going with Weaver as closer leaving Kahnle to come in at high leverage situations they choose. I agree you can't trust Holmes anymore other than garbage time. I'm not sure he should even be on the playoff roster though I'm sure he will be. |
