Change at the knees down the middle, tapped right back to Ginn, who starts a 1-6-3 DP, bad bad bad. Couldn't take advantage of the leadoff single.

The Yanks might be overthinking this, they could have just slid Judge up to the two spot.

Sinker misses inside about 3-4 inches, above the knees, 1-1
Change bounced, outer half, 2-1
Sinker in the zone up and in ties him up a bit, popped to the right side, Soderstrom moves a couple of steps, catches, inning over.
Bottom 1st, 0-0.
Just 8 pitches in the 1st for Ginn, thanks to the GIDP from Wells.

FB outside corner at just 91.7, slapped to the left side, Volpe has to move right quickly because he's playing next to 2nd, backhands and throws it low to Rizzo, who scoops, 1 down. Good play right of the bat.

Putting Grisham in the lineup instead of Dominquez doesn't make any sense. rather see him as well, but he has had a couple fielding misadventures the last couple games. for this game anyway, they went w grisham's defense. im sure the martian will be back tomorrow. |

Chisholm takes a sinker outside, ball 1
Slider down and in, fouls it off his front foot again. wearing a very big guard after hitting the back of his leg, but that hit the top of the foot. 1-1
Sinker starts inside, gets a tiny piece of the corner, 1-2% on Gameday, 1-2
FB up and in, swung under for the K. Rarely used FB, I guess that's what he uses it for.

Sinker dives well inside, taken, 1-1
Slider well low, outer 3rd, 2-1
Better slider drops onto the low outside corner, Stanton misses over it, 2-2
Same slider a bit higher, Stanton early, tops it foul off 3rd.
Sinker yanked well low near middle, 3-2
Sharp slider drops to the knees in the middle, swings over it for the K, 2 down.

Change to the same spot as the sinker, rolled to the right side, Soderstrom comes way off the bag to field, flips to Ginn. Inning over.
1-2-3 for Ginn in the 2nd, 14 pitches, and 22 through 2.

I've noticed a lot of low scoring games throughout MLB lately, the late September cool weather, let's get the season over phenomenon is underway.
