I can't believe the Astros are throwing has-been Verlander on the mound today, essentially giving the Guardians a win. We need them to lose 1 more to guarantee home field for the entire AL playoffs.

Soto thrown out stealing. Perfect game still on play. Either way, probably another loss for the yanks. Hopefully Houston can help? Well, if Soto was thrown out trying to advance on a short wild pitch, it's not really a perfect game, is it? He walked before getting thrown out. No-hitter, yes. Perfect game, no. |

Curve in the drop the bat happy zone down and in, Chisholm jumps all over it, belts it into the 2nd deck in right, solo HR gets the Yanks on the board, down 4-1!
No hitter and shutout over, anyway.
