Slider drops into the zone down and in, taken for a strike by Peguero.
Curve on the corner away, popped to short left center, Dominguez comes in and left, fights the rain, and makes a bit of a lunging catch. Didn't look too steady on that one, either.
Bottom 2, 2-0 Yanks.

Schmidt looks good in the first, other than the HBP. pretty sure rodon's gonna be in the rotation for the alds. but schmidt's certainly making the case that he belongs there. definitely will be in when we get into the alcs. since he has the experience, he'll be good in the pen as well. If they make it to the ALCS, they will probably need 4 starters. Good news for Schmidt. |

Volpe obv isn't a huge problem, but def would have liked to see some progression this year..while his average is going to be better this OBP is still under .300 and his OPS is lower this year than last by about 10 points. He did have some hot streaks this year hopefully he could od that in the playoffs.
