Soto takes a slider low, ball 1
Sinker above middle middle, taken, 1-1.
FB in almost the same spot, gets under it to left, but it stays in the park, Melendez back to the track, and catches. Yanks making solid contact the last couple of innings, but nothing doing.
Top 8, 4-1 Royals
Kahnle will come in to face Perez, Gurriel and Massey.
Perez is 0-3 with a BB and 2 K's vs. Kahnle.
Gurriel is 0-2 with 1 K
Massey is 1-2 with a solo HR.
The BRef stats will not include anything that already happened in this series, at least in terms of pitcher vs. batter.

Chisholm fliner 93, Volpe deep fliner to right 93, Verdugo single 94, Berti deep lineout at 87, but I think Statcast is drunk on that one, no way that carries to the track at 87, Soto flyball was 100 mph.

tough to get excited for this team when they turn into pumpkins once October hits. Seems like a organizational rot from Hal Steinbrenner down to Cashman and now the players.
