FB outer 3rd, waist high, belted to deep left center, but Judge races back, has the right read and route, runs it down just on the track in deepest left center. Rodon used the whole park in Death Valley, but got Ramirez for the 3rd out to end the inning.
Bottom 6, 4-1 Yanks.
If that's it for Rodon, that's a great job: 23 pitches in the 6th, 93 total, 6 innings 3 hits, a solo HR, 0 BB and 9 K's.
Great start, at a great time.
Verdugo, then back to the top for Torres and Soto for the Yanks in the 6th.

Judge hauls it in with ease! Six impressive innings from Rodon. Freaking Ramirez saw a full inning of pitches. Pest. Great hitter. Almost, but not quite as great as Soto. |

I would like to see us get some more runs in the bottom of the sixth and Rodon comes out in the seventh. Rest the BP... Plus Rodon will feel great being able to go seven..

FB clips the corner away, above the waist, not called, Torres gets the break, 10-20% on Gameday, 2-0
Change on the inside corner, taken, 2-1
Slider waist high, outside middle, and Torres misses it, gets under it to right center, easy play for Thomas, who drifts left and catches, 2 down.

Eric Sobrowski, a lefty, in to pitch to Soto.
FB 93 about 57%, curve 79 about 26%, slider 87 about 17%
None of the Yanks on the current roster have ever batted against him, including Soto.

FB well high, outer half, taken, 1-2
FB at 95 at the high outside corner, swung under for the K, inning over.
Guardians' pen keeps the game right where it is, without any of their top 5 relievers.
Top 7, 4-1 Yanks. Looks like Holmes coming in to face Thomas, J. Naylor and Noel.
