I'm confused, we're benching a player because the third base coach made a mistake? He wants either Gleyber benched or Rojas fired in Game 5 of the ALCS up 3-1. That throw home was perfect. Anything up the line and Gleyber scores. I just don't like the idea of gambling with no outs and Judge coming up to the plate in the first inning. |

we're pushing it bringing Lieter back Yes, but I think he's in just to get this one out if he can. Well, they IBB Ramirez, bases loaded, 2 down for Thomas. Curve drops into the top of the zone, grounded sharply up the middle, but Torres is shading that way, fields behind 2nd, his only play is to first and he gets it there just in time with another excellent stretch from Rizzo, and Thomas drops an f-bomb as he realizes he's gonna be out. Leiter gets it done again, gets the vital out to keep the Yanks in the game. Top 6, 2-0 Guardians. Top of the order for the Yanks in the 6th: Torres, Soto and Judge get their 3rd look at Bibee, or maybe not if Torres or Soto can get on. Might lift him against Soto or Judge. Unlikely, but possible. |

I know I will be in the minority here, but I think with a little work in the off-season, Leiter could be an effective reliever. |
