Slider HITS the back door up in the zone, not called again. Bad call again, 30% on Gameday
Slider hits the very bottom of the zone 1-2% and that one is called a strike, 1-1
Sinker well outside, taken, 2-1
Slider down and in, swung over, 2-2
Tries to backdoor it again, misses outside above the knees, taken, 3-2
Sinker up in the zone, outside middle, and he swings over it for the K! Great two-plane movement down and also away toward the outer 3rd.
Good job, Cousins.
Top 8, still tied at 2.
Verdugo, and back to the top for Torres and Soto,
Herrin should stay for Verdugo and maybe the other two. Maybe.

rizzo probably makes the play but his defense has been a little shakey the last couple games, so maybe boone wasn't so dumb. We won't know until Rizzo's spot comes up again in this game. agree. was just talking about ocab's defense. |
