Who was the MVP of the ALCS?
I have to go with Stanton again. Soto was a close second. Gleyber and Volpe were getting on base. But, time and again, when we needed to get back into a ball game, Stanton came up huge. This series was definitely a team effort though. Some unsung heroes like Leiter and Cousins the last two days; Hill for the entire series; Kahnle and Weaver! Rodon with a fantastic first start and a decent one tonight, all things considered and especially comparatively to Cleveland's starters.

It's Stanton. He was a war machine.

Stanton. But wanted to give a HUGE shout out to Gleyber Torres. Guy was called out for not hustling, benched, moved up and down the order, possibly almost traded, etc. Like I posted in another thread, he’s likely played his way out of the Bronx. Shame because he really seems like he loves being a Yankee. However the only way I see him back is if Soto goes elsewhere.

I'll keep it unanimous with Big G, although obviously Soto and Gleyber Torres earned strong shoutouts. For all the merde Stanton has taken from Yankee fans, including me, mainly out of frustration with his constant absences from the lineup, he has always stoically endured the criticism, never really lashing out as far as I know. He just plows ahead with that demeanor of grim determination. Hope he's World Series MVP as well!
