Lost my wifi again on the Ohtani double and error that let him go to 3rd, and Betts makes them pay immediately, deep fly to center, but Judge gets back to backhand, sac fly ties the game at 2.
Bad fundamentals hurting the Yanks again. With no error, that's a fly and Ohtani goes to 3rd, maybe, unless he would've stolen 2nd.

I didn't quite see what happened, but the error credited to Volpe. Freeman flies to center to end the inning. Best they could do with Ohtani at 3rd with 1 out and Betts up. Top 9, tied at 2. Kopech the righty with some control trouble who throws 100, in to face Wells, Verdugo and Torres. Edit: Oh, OK, the error was on Torres. Volpe was in short right center. Gameday had it wrong. |
