Aw, come on with that crap, tight K zone my patoot. Slider misses outside by 3 inches, called a strike anyway, ball 6 becomes 1-1, not close, terrible call.
Slider misses just low in the middle, should be ball 7, but it's 2-1

Flaherty looks in, then steps off.
Chases the same slider outside by 3 inches, hits a sharp grounder up the middle, but Edman is right behind 2nd, starts a 6-6-3 DP. That swing courtesy of the schitte call on the 1-0 slider outside, forcing Soto to go after the 3-2.

This ump is terrible. Why is he in for the WS? So annoying! It changes the players at bats when they have swing at bad pitches! He better be equally bad on both sides! |

FB stays up and outside, 1-1
Curve way low, inside middle, lays off, 2-1
FB at the top, near middle, gets under it to deep right, just missed it, flies out to Soto on the edge of the track, 1 down.

Admittedly, I am biased but it appears Cole has not gotten as many pitches as Flaherty. Yankees would be in a better place if they were ultra patient. Lots of pitches, especially the curveball, finishing outside the strike zone.

FB HITS the bottom of the zone, inner 3rd, but the "big strike zone" magically disappears again, called a ball, 30% on Gameday, 2-1
FB above the inner 3rd, Edman chases and pops foul off 1st, Rizzo comes in and left, catches, 2 down.
