One of the frustrating parts of that 9th inning last night is that the Yankees have struggled against left handed pitching all season, yet Cashman did nothing it improve the bench to at least have someone on the post season roster that can come off bench and get a hit off a lefty. Instead Boone sent up a backup catcher who's 7 for 54 with 2 RBI's since July 1st with the game on the line.

Hey fellow fans,
I'm trying to keep in mind that LA held serve, which is what they were supposed to do. We MUST take care of business in our house though, especially after gifting them game 1 due to Gleyber and Boone. We really should've been 1-1 going back to NY but hey, we did it against Atlanta. We have to hold serve, and then don't do stupid things like not look a ball into your glove, or use your ace for more than 88 pitches, or not use a starter who hasnt pitched in a month as a reliever. Also, gotta put Judge down in the order until he gets right. Maybe 5th after Stanton and Rizzo who both have good postseason numbers?
Gotta keep the faith.

Oh, also nice to see Hill used and looking sharp retiring all 4 he faced! Too bad it wasn't in Game 1.

Yea I dunno why fans are so down that was two close games. Dodger stadium doesn't feel like Houston or Arizona where it seems impossible to win there. They let the Dodgers starters off the hook too much. Gotta up the pitch counts more. Don't let them go 6 innings. Keep making them use their bullpen so the Yankees get used to their pitchers. Thats how they got here. Don't go away from that plan now.

Yea I dunno why fans are so down that was two close games. Probably because the Yankees had the best road record during the regular season, and couldn't even win 1 in L.A. Plus the fact that this Dodgers offense makes the 2 teams the Yankees last beat when they were down 2 games to none in a WS (The 1978 Dodgers, and 1996 Braves) look like AAA teams by comparison. I mean, someone throw us a bone here...The Mets beat the Yankees this year 4 games to 0. The Dodgers beat the Yankees this year in the regular season 2 games to 1 (at Yankee Stadium), and during the playoffs the Mets lost to the Dodgers 4 games to 2, but at least they split their opening series in L.A. It's pretty apparent to me that the Mets were the superior team over the Yankees this year, and the fact that they played the Dodgers tough in the playoffs, only to lose, while the Yankees are being shut out by the Dodgers...this should prove who the best team in baseball is this season. I know anything can happen in a 7 game series, and I want the Yankees to win, but I don't want to see Ohtani's injury be the reason why. I won't be happy hearing for the rest of my life that the only reason the Yankees won the 2024 World Series was because Ohtani got injured! If only they hadn't blown that first game, I'd feel a whole lot better about the rest of this series. Now it feels like history won't be kind to the 2024 Yankees regardless of the outcome this year.

Win or Lose I want Cashman gone. Brian Cashman has made more guys who can't play baseball wealthy than the New York Lottery !

So much for an 8:08 start... Yeah really. I changed the channel and missed the first pitch of the game.

I used to watch the Braves before I moved to NYC in 2011. Smoltz was an announcer at the end there. He was great. Told corny jokes, didn't have the announcer thing down yet, etc. Now he's unbearable. I like him, he's a good announcer. But I get a bit annoyed when he comments about Yankee Stadium dimensions.

Win or Lose I want Cashman gone. And he can take this manager with him. You can bet instead of down 2 games to none, the Yankees would be winning 2 games to none if Girardi was still here.

Enough of these pharmaceutical drug commercials! Again, yeah really. In my opinion, some are of them are morbid too. Aren't the Doctors supposed to know about those medications?

This post is ridicolous. Soto didn't play in that dodgers series. Both Mets series were pre jazz and in the slumping months of June and July. Being a good road team doesn't mean an auto win it means they aren't intimidated by playing away from home. The Yankees never looked intimated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
