They need to trade for a starter asap. Can't keep pissing away games to teams like the Mets. This game is far from over. yeah...true...plenty of time to rally, but.... German's penchant for giving up runs in the first inning does not lead to a possible start in post-season....we simply cannot have such a hole to dig out.....this has been a recurring problem, and it's not getting fixed..... The Yankees can play mediocre ball in the second half and get into the WC playoff...…..I just hope for more than that... |

It feels like it's been weeks since Yankee baseball, glad it's back. All-star break is so brutal. Not sure why only the Cubs/Cards played yesterday. Seems like really odd scheduling. The Cubs/Cards tilt yesterday was a make up game from an earlier rain out. |

I thought maybe “Syndergaard” wouldn’t fit on the jersey. Might have started and ended on his backside and up and down his back...Seems like such a long name, but it’s really only 10 letters.
Maybe there’s an illusion caused by the double “a”?
