I know it's technically a PED unless you go through all the hoops but get Gary on some adderall. It'll help his focus... Maybe he has ADHD.. And a pleasant side effects... He'll lose weight... Until then does anyone have a problem batting him 9th until he starts performing? I also wouldn't give up on him and trade him especially when his values at the lowest. He always seemed to lack focus and the adderall would be prescribed for that... I've used it recreationally and it certainly gives you focus.. Legal speed. It's an amphetamine for anyone who don't know. (Yes... They prescribe legal meth to teenagers who can't focus on school work... Fucked up..). I always thought Sanchez had miggy Cabrera/Manny Ramirez type bat... Maybe just make him full time DH..

Oh Boy. I really can't defend Sanchez here. His stupidity or laziness cost us the game today. I don't know what he was thinking not running hard to first on that play. It's not like he seemed injured. He definitely kicked it into another gear about half way there. Inexcusable.

Before this season I thought Gary if healthy would hit over 300 with 35 bombs and be teams all around best hitter still possible next season but he has to apply himself better. Maybe it'll be the best for him to DH more I thought he could be Miggy Cabrera Manny Ramirez type bat

I hear you serchio. He hasn’t adjusted to the pitchers who refuse to feed him fastballs. He doesn’t have discipline to lay off of pitches and has to be more selective. It’s like he’s decided to swing before the pitch is even delivered. His defence is pathetic, but the killer is that he seems so nonchalant about it. Maybe that’s just his nature, but taking all of those things together, peoples patience is starting to wear pretty thin. I don’t know how it’s playing out for his teammates, but Severino didn’t look happy in between innings.

Sanchez appears to be falling back into his old headcase ways. I wonder what kind of pitching he could fetch in a trade? Yes. I've been wondering that too. Even said so a time or two. Too bad we have sell low on him because of his turdish play of late...Just think what we could have gotten over the winter...Now, we'd be stuck with crumbs, but that may be better than nothing...He's worse than Jesus Montero now...

You do not sell a talent like Sanchez for half price at the moment, he had a historical start to his career, he'll get it going again. Try to nurture him, give some tough love of course, and hope he finds it the last two months. One of my biggest pet peeves is seeing some in media and fans refuse to realize that players production isn't linear. Just because someone is struggling, you don't DFA, demote or trade them. Far too often irrational dimwits spew that type of garbage on multiple players. Ideally of course you hope everyone is consistent on an everyday basis, however with a 162 game schedule, that is just not possible. Sometimes play slips, whether it be physically or at times, mentally. Gary has had some issues in both areas dating way back to the minors as many of us know who have followed. He is still just 25, and even I tend to forget that there absolutely can still be growth needed. Lets hope this is just a blip on the radar.
