Actually, he will be 26 in December. It’s not a matter of talent, it’s basic desire, pride and team play that he should exhibit even when undergoing hard times.

I figured out how to Motivate Sanchez to Hustle & to have him start Blocking Balls at the Plate:
Tell him each ball he Blocks at the Plate is like getting a Triple Decker Deli Sandwich; but only if he Blocks the ball.
Tell him each time he Hustles to 1B there is a Double Meatloaf Sandwich with Mash Potatoes & Gravy waiting for him there.
If he doesn't start SOON, REAL SOON to Blocking Balls and Increasing his BA while driving in Runs; we might as well start to learn the Words from my favorite Johnny Cash Song:
The Man Comes Around Johnny Cash
"And I heard, as it were, the noise of thunder One of the four beasts saying, 'Come and see.' and I saw, and behold a white horse"
There's a man goin' 'round takin' names And he decides who to free and who to blame Everybody won't be treated all the same There'll be a golden ladder reachin' down When the man comes around
The hairs on your arm will stand up At the terror in each sip and in each sup Will you partake of that last offered cup Or disappear into the potter's ground? When the man comes around
Hear the trumpets hear the pipers One hundred million angels singin' Multitudes are marchin' to the big kettledrum Voices callin', voices cryin' Some are born and some are dyin' It's alpha and omega's kingdom come And the whirlwind is in the thorn tree The…
Sing it Tequila...God, she sounds just like Johnny Cash.

Sanchez appears to be falling back into his old headcase ways. I wonder what kind of pitching he could fetch in a trade? Yes. I've been wondering that too. Even said so a time or two. Too bad we have sell low on him because of his turdish play of late...Just think what we could have gotten over the winter...Now, we'd be stuck with crumbs, but that may be better than nothing...He's worse than Jesus Montero now... He's not worse than Jesus Montero. Come on.

He's not worse than Jesus Montero. Come on. Of course that was said with tongue in cheek and fresh disappointment still churning my raw emotions. I do want to know he’s at least getting his ass kicked in some way. I’ve been a Sanchez supporter since his emotional immaturity days in AA, so I would be saddened to lose him. I’d like to hear him express a sincere apology and a desire to prove to all Yankee fans that they’ll never have to witness anything like this again. Then, from that point on he must do what he says. We’re never going to make him a fast runner. We don’t even know for certain that he would have been safe if he had run to first on the games final play. We do know that walking after the ball that went up the third base line earlier in the game did allow the Rays to score first and set the tone for this game. Alright Maize. You scolded me as I deserved. I’m usually more reserved in my criticism of players, but Sanchez showed us that he still has some dog in him. It’s time for that to stop. He is too old to continue to be a “baby bomber”. The only babies now are Torres and Andujar. Everyone else is a MLB veteran and needs to play like one.

Alright inger, I forgive you for saying he's worse than Jesus Montero. Let's hope he returns from this second DL stint fully healthy with no setbacks.
