Dies Gardner ever hit the ball hard anymore? There has seldom been a player that I can recall that shows such a horrible tendency to hit little tappers all over the field and then suddenly go on a tear where he’s ripping everything than Gardner. When’s hot, he’s a terror. When he’s cold, you just hope can find a hole with or beat out his grounders and doesn’t hit too many soft flies to left field.. Of course, as he’s aging we may see more and more of those little tappers, but he’s kept himself in great condition and is still an amazing LF/CF in the field... |
