Just a nice, smooth relaxed DP there by the Yankees. This defense is so much better than it was earlier in the season... Not to take away from it, but it seems like this whole Orioles team is comically slow. Yes. The team was built to out-homer everyone in their tiny ball park. They also don’t have anyone in the lineup that isn’t aggressive to the point of comical stupidity. Without big seasons from Davis and Trumbo they were dead in the water...That further exposed the hyper-aggressive bats of Schoop and Adam Jones, and the toilet water started spinning very fast. But what of Manny? Manny was happy because he was the SS. And because Manny the SS was an impending free-agent that wasn’t going to stay in Baltimore unless they gave him the moon and a few asteroids to boot. Has anyone noticed that I don’t care for Manny? Just wondered... |

Just wondered... I just don't see a spot. If they were going to go after one of the two big FA's go after Harper, keep Gardy or Hicks as a 4th OF and trade your surplus for an ace and go win a WS. Right now I can't see anyone committing the insane amounts of money people were speculating pre-season to Harper at this point, but he is still very young and is still hitting for power, the avg just isn't there. |
