Bring on the robo-umps. Too many guys that just can't make the calls. I watched the Angels game earlier and Heaney got screwed out of a strikeout that would have made it bases loaded 1 out, instead on the next pitch he gave up a hit and it was 2-0 runners on 1st/2nd and none out. Completely changed the landscape of the game because the ump can't get a call right.

PHHHHEEEEWWWWWWW. CC escapes allowing only one run. The NESN broadcasters completely got me on that last one. Called it like at least a double off the wall if not a grand slam. "HIGH FLY BALL!...deep left field...Gardner racing back...at the track...and he makes the catch". Basically Sterling if he was malicious rather than incompetent.

The thing that bothers me most is that each ump have their own "interpretation". There is a ton of ego involved from these guys, who don't know or don't care that no one actually cares about seeing them. So when it's an important game and it's like the third inning before the players realize what kind of zone they're working with, depending how consistent the ump is it just gets too frustrating for me.
