Nice to see a game where there was some good defense was played by both teams. Defense still wins in the NFL, although all the rules favor the offense.

You said it Chi. 7 sacks and hit after hit in the second half. And he got sacked 9 times in the Tennessee game. It's crazy that they made it that far with that line. |

And the game is getting good = GO Bengals!!!
The missed facemask on the Bengals TD was a disgrace. All the ticky-tack calls we've seen this season and they miss something so obvious in the biggest game of the year. Saints’ fans know the feeling of missed calls. Rams got to a Super Bowl on one of them not long ago. |

I know the last thing we need is more reviews but maybe obvious penalties should be reviewable too? And the Bengals just fall short. Stafford to Cupp connection was just too unstoppable. Strange game. Hardly any flags the entire game, which favors the more physical defensive line and offensive line of the Rams. Then, four flags in thirty seconds once the Rams get into the Red Zone with fewer than two minutes remaining in the game. |

I didn’t mind the officiating until the last two minutes of the game, when suddenly “let them play” flew out the window for thirty seconds with the Rams in the Red Zone. Call it one way the entire game. I’ve always liked the challenge system, except I do not agree a challenge should be subtracted if the call is overturned. If a coach keeps winning the challenges, he should continue to be able to throw the flag until a challenge is lost. |
