I guess Dome went down in flames this time. Plus the guy with that monstrous $5M bet… Dome, hope you make it up in golf season… Had the Bengals plus 4.5 = WON, but not much...
Great Post season for the NFL--Love all the exciting games.
Football Season Is Over. The NFL’s Problems Are Not.
From sports betting to domestic violence to TV ratings to concussions, the league has a lot of room to improve.

Remember when members of Congress would cite Onion articles, not understanding that it was a satirical newspaper?

Actually, only having been in Cincy once… I thought the center square to be rather charming. It’s been 30 years or so. It may be a pit now. It was midsummer, lazy sunny. I didn’t quite “get” why everybody was pushing the chili, thought it was odd.
Bengals. Bengals. Made them unique. Not Tigers. I don’t know what a Bengal Tiger would be doing there except on the zoo. Perhaps they have a nice Tiger exhibit? I used to like that team in the late 60’s or early 70’s when Kenny Anderson became Stabler before Stabler was Stabler. Every week it seemed 25-29, 24-28 passing. Just shredded defenses with short and mid range passes. Seldom went long. Just ground it out…

He looked like the manager of a local supermarket. But, his skills would have fit in well today with the changes in defensive rules that allow wide open, proficient passing games to thrive.

If I remember correctly, Anderson was a very accurate passer, just like his counterpoint in the Super Bowl he played in, Joe Montana.

Good to know. At least I feel justified in my comp now… I used to watch a LOT of football. All I could get. I started becoming… well, I worked some Sundays, bowled some Sundays. I had to live…

Two of my favorite highlights from the 1990 Giants tape I used to watch over and over again:

The great Harry Kalas on the call of that first clip. Legendary voice. I could watch all those old NFL films clips for days.
