that game had so many up and downs, Michigan fans, like Maize have to be so disappointed. Thought I'd be more disappointed, but when you turn it over twice on the goalline, and throw two pick-six - you really dont deserve to win. Very sloppy 1st half cost em, something I truly hate about CFB is 3-4 weeks off between regular season and biggest games of the year in bowl/playoff games. It has never, ever made sense and creates too much uncertainty, no team should have more than 2 weeks between its games once 12 team playoff begins. Pretty amazing they got it as close as they did. TCU is a fun group to root for, hope they pull it off. Now the level of disappointment woulda went way up if OSU held vs UGA and went on to win the title after getting beat down by MICH two years in a row. Those were two entertaining games, think we're gonna see more of that once CFP playoffs expands. 2024 cant come soon enough, CFB is the best when it's going good. Agreed!

True that those were unusually entertaining games. When they expand the playoffs, it seems to me they can drop the conference championships. Why have them when you know that, just to take this year, Georgia and Alabama and Tennessee would all be in from the SEC as would Michigan and Ohio State from the Big 10? More chances for injuries, more NFL-bound players sitting out, and far less excitement when you know that the loser is in in any event. Obviously the answer is $$$$, but it could be short-sighted.

Pipps, sounds like one proposal they're thinking about is keeping the conf championships and move it up to Thanksgiving weekend. Rivalry week will be the week before, and CFB season will start a week before Labor Day. Something I don't like, since it means teams will again have 2-4 weeks off between last game and playoff games, whether they're in conf champ or not.
To me it's simple - keep everything the same, put the 1st and 2nd rounds somewhere between Dec 7th-21st, semis on NYD, Title game 7-10 days after.
Edit: I do agree eliminating conf champs would make sense, though the rising # of teams in conferences makes it hard to find a true conference champion nowadays. When it was only 8-11 teams in a conference, a true round-robin like Big 12 does would make a ton of sense, then head into CFP playoffs.

I’m on mobile so no emojis but that’s a double slap from me. I do hope Brady beats the hated cowboys on Monday though.

Go GMEN! Giants beat the Vikings and move on to face the Eagles in the Divisional round!
Jones is taking that next step and he finally got some help from his receivers.

Jones is taking that next step and he finally got some help from his receivers. Except for Darius Slayton on that last play. If they lost the game Slayton would have been the reason and would go down in infamy. Ah well. All's well that ends well. Who are you supporting the rest of the way, Chi?

I dunno. Maybe she wanted to git while the gittin’ was good. Before she had his whiny deflated ass around the house not knowing what to do with himself…
