I was disappointed as well. The Noetsi’s win...
Russell balls up an emaciated and atrophied fist of excitement...Goes home and does bench presses with a 5 pound weight on each end of his weight bar...

Who will be the butt of everyone's jokes now?

The Browns too. Oh yeah, Browns fan here who can plead guilty to that one. A pathetic, aimless organization. Kind of like the Knicks, it starts from the top. Haslem and Dolan, hated by their teams fan base. I belong to that apparently narrow band of people who are not fans of the Patriots but who have no animosity toward them. In fact the more people who hated on them, the more sympathetic I became to them. Maybe a result of being a Yankee fan who gets tired of the automatic conforming hate against our guys. Same with Duke basketball. I never hate the teams you're supposed to hate. Browns had so much hope last offseason. They need some offensive line help.

And a coach who has some idea of what he is doing. Now watch them hire Jason Garrett. That would be so Brownian.

Seriously, I thought there was a glimmer of hope with him earlier in the season, and I haven't completely given up on him, but he needs to make a major step forward next year. I don't think he'll ever be one of my personal favorites. I'll trade him to you straight up for Daniel Jones.

Yea, I found myself rooting against the Browns just because of Mayfield's attitude and all the hype around the team. I may support them next year just because they'll be underdogs again and they do have Odell (stupid trade ). I definitely am I believer in Danny Dimes though! If only he'd stop fumbling. I was hoping we'd get Chase Young in the draft but the stupid team had to go out and win a few games at the end of the year. Can you believe that?

I hear you. But it would have been really tough to play below Bungles level all year. I agree Young looks like a game-changing monster.
Only old guys like me remember when the Browns were good. Even Belichick couldn't make it happen.
Fortunately I don't take them to heart like I do the Yankees. Baseball has always been number one with me.

Are you an NC State guy, Renfield? No. Wake Forest. We're currently in the midst of a 10-year (and counting) self-imposed death penalty in basketball, but can't bring myself to root for the blue men.

, Sorry pipps had to jab you there.
I think the Bungles will draft Joe Burrow first anyway so I was hoping for the second pick to get Young. As it stands I hope they get one of the good offensive linemen at 4.

When you're a Browns fan, you have to take the jabs in stride. And you don't even have a plausible retort, unless you're dealing with maybe a Lions fan (one of the few other teams with no other Super Bowl appearances.)
