Buccaneers or Chargers are the favorites I read. I guess he intends to keep playing until he feels he’s become ineffective or he sustains permanent damage to his body. He could just go home now and bask in the glory days...Do endorsements, guest appearances. I still hate that Johnny U went to the Chargers at the end... Sorta like Montana to the Chiefs too.

That’s a great modern day comp for the Johnny U deal. Not just football, either. Willie Mays, Yogi Berra, so many that didn’t know when to say good bye...

Montana did take Kansas City to the AFC title game, so he did have some good football left in him. Remember Joe Namath on the Rams? Brett Farve on the Jets?

Running backs version:
OJ on the 49er's (before he started killing people) Franco Harris on the Seahawks Tony Dorsett on the Broncos Emmitt Smith on the Cardinals

Wow, I never thought I"d see the day. Wow. GF must be crushed. I'm happy though. I expected this. I don't think it is in his best interests or the team's but this is where it was headed. All good things have to come to an end. With everything else going on, this doesn't feel important. I am grateful to him for 2 decades of consistent winning and for the way he carried himself as a leader. I feel exactly the same way about Brady as I did about Jeter. They're very similar athletes in my opinion, not absolutely the best and not solely responsible for their teams' success, but without them it doesn't happen.

Just wrong. That's what it will look like when Brady is on the Bucs or the Chargers.

Its trickling in from sources that Brady will sign with the Buccaneers. To be announced officially Wednesday.

They do have a bunch of cap room, so maybe they can put something together. I can't think of a situation like this that really ended all that great for the ageing former superstar moving to a different uniform. Montana won the division and lost in the AFC Championship game. That's not exactly something that would be a huge success for Tom Brady.

I don't think their offensive line is good enough. Not sure what he has to prove at this point that he would risk getting hurt.

Patriot fans must really feel deflated. c. That must really have Patriot fans feeling flat. d. Air’s out of the Brady/Belichick relationship.
