I doubt Choo tries for 2B with Hicks out there in CF.

With Stanton's legs bothering him, the Yanks need another OF, but Cashman could find someone better than Robinson. Why not call up McBroom, who plays RF and is a better stick than Robinson? Both Wade and Torreyes provide more flexibility than Robinson defensively. Sounds good to me.

Here's a surprise to no one...Boston leads Baltimore 2-0 in the fifth.

Lynn gets Toe-cheese to end the inning. Pitch count is getting high, though.

Do you the Yankees have a hitting coach, why is Gardner have such an uppercut swing? It doesn't make any sense.

Isn't McBroom also a first baseman?...…..I like Bird, and yes, he had a nice RBI double today, but the guy is hitting a tad over 200 with modest power numbers.....is Bird really the answer at first on a club positioning for years of dominance?

DiDi sees one pitch and makes two outs, the offense should be doing more damage against this guy.

Bird is 25 years old, and this is the most he's ever played in a MLB season, which is only 62 games and not very far over 200 at bats. And, he's coming off three surgeries. I think he deserves a full year away from surgery, a full Spring training, and a full season of at bats.

You know Didi is going to be ribbing Profar over that one. What a nice grab.

Nice to see Bird driving the ball to RF.

He & Happ have both been good for the Yanks so far and they needed them.
