So when we’re talking heT in Burlington, VT., how hot is hot? Did it breAk 100. For instance? I’m assuming the answer would be yes... We started out boiling hot here in Pueblo. In June we had several days that were over 100. Topping out one day at 110 degrees. Then in July we had a few days over 100, but quite a few less than last year. August has been remarkably cool with most days in the low to mid nineties and even some days in the mid eighties. After that early surge in June, I figured we’d fry this year, but with our low humidity and regular winds it’s been pretty pleasant. Our humidity has been a bit higher this year, but 25-50% on a few days here and there is still dry next to most of the country, and the sunniest days are often less than 10% humidity. About 6-7% happens frequently... We didn't hit 100, but did have more days in the 90's than any month since they started keeping records. Average temp was 81. Dry too.

Sadly, what is coming America's way with Weather, is NOT PRETTY.
America and the rest of The World will suffer thru a rapidly increasing number of Devastating, Deadly, Extreme, Climate Events (DDECE'S).
They will make the Extreme Weather that we are suffering from today, look like Child's Play.
It is my opinion and only an opinion, is that WE have lost the War against Global Warming and now MUST fight weekly/monthly DDECE'S Events.
These DDECE'S will only be increasing rapidly and will be so bad, that it is beyond your all imagination's.
Yet, we have MILLIONS of Uneducated Americans that still do not believe in Global Warming...go figure, because I cannot.
Tequila, stop laughing so hard; we have talked about this before; that it is NOT Polite to laugh at the Uneducated...but you can giggle.
It is so hot here, that some parts of roads are starting to melt.
It is so hot here, that already I have had Heat Stroke twice & Heat Exhaustion at least 6-Times.
It is so hot here that we have double our weekly order of Clean Ice from 30-bags a week to 60-bags a week.
It is so hot here that we have burned-out two of our three home Ice Machines because of over-use & the heat.
It is so hot here, we find it difficult to cook (the heat).
It is so hot here, that businesses & restaurants have shut down during the day.
It is so hot here that a few days ago, I turn DOWN a Three-Way with two of my girls (to HOT to screw). I have NEVER turn down these type of opportunities...
It is so hot here we have had already 12 Named Hurricanes/Tropical Storms off the Pacific Coast (with only more to come).
It is so hot here, that it is difficult to drink Booze.
The only one thriving in this awful heat; is Tequila, she loves it.
WHAT IS SCARY: Is that our hottest Months, are Mid-August thru at least the first part of October...SHIT!!!

He just he just went with the pitch with the intention of hitting the ball hard. It worked. The accidental HR is the easiest HR to hit...Because you aren't swinging like a mad man and you still care if you actually make contact. I really miss contact-hitting players...There are none left. NONE. No more Tony Gwynn's fanning less than 20 times per season...

All I can think of is the old Johnny Carson monologues...
"How hot IS it"?
"It was SO hot, I saw a robin dipping his worm in Nestea"...

DOME, I've told you multiple times, No Politics on the Board! If you must talk Politics start a dedicated Politics thread. Otherwise, stop mentioning the president. We are here to talk baseball and maybe some other light hearted topics like Inger's ass and such.

You were able to make sense of that drug addled dimwitted gibberish to ascertain that it was intended to be political?
