All it took was for Inger to go kill some weeds. And it was too windy to spray. I came back in after the HR! Thank goodness Romine has answered the call this year. If he had remained a .220, no power bat we’d be even worse off... |

Why has Torres abandoned his two strike approach? With two strikes, he used to keep his left foot on the ground and take the ball to right field. when he started hitting HR, I feared this could happen... maybe he’ll learn from this stretch, but so many hitters in this age of baseball will do anything to hit a handful more of HR, it’s hard to figure out which ones will be smart enough to learn... |

Phenomenal job by Happ. He's been so good for us so far. 4 ER in 19 innings. 1.89 ERA.

Happ out for the 8th, anyone? I would, but I have a feeling that Boone will feel he must inflict his genius on us. I expect Betances... If he’s going to pull him out if someone gets on base which seems likely I would rather he let someone else start the inning fresh without men on base. |
