Would be a great time for Headley to make it 1 for 18. He did have a few this in this position earlier in the year, but none lately.

In all seriousness though, I think there main problem is Ellsbury and Headley just aren't DH types, they don't have much power, they aren't used to sitting on the bench the whole game (though Ellsbury had a few moments as a pinch runner), I think they just have no timing to be a DH. If they make it through I don't see how Holliday would still be on the roster, I would prob put frazier on and see what happens at least Frazier can come in for a defensive replacement if needed at some point, something Holliday cannot do. Having a DH HR threat off the threat always helps in a series never know when that potential HR will be useful. The phillies prob don't win the world series in 08 without matt stairs, yankees don't win the ALDS without Ibanez in 2012, Berkman had a good game in game 2 2010 ALDS vs twins etc.
