How many bets and st what odds could you have gotten if you had bet that Romine would have 9 home runs this year? You might have been able to win even if you bet he wouldn’t hit 9 more in his career.
He’s been a lifesaver this season. He and Higgy have almost replaced Sanchez’s offense this year.
I know Higgy hasn’t hit for average, but I like him behind the plate. Very steady, and a good arm...Maybe we can sell high on Romine this winter to a team looking for a starting catcher...

Anyone know what’s up with German? Is he on the DL, either here or in Stanton-WB? I think he’s so close. His peripherals would be good if he did’t serve up too many HR. That was his only problem. Less than a hit per inning, control just a bit off with 3.5 BB/9. Not all that bad considering the K’s and decent BA against.
