Somebody called into the Kay show trying to say Sanchez was "stupid and lazy," because he "can't learn English." It was the dumbest thing I've heard in a looong time... and I find some dumb shit on the interwebs lol.

Who ever called in is probably one of the millions of Americans that hate to press “one for English”...And most likely doesn’t understand a word of “Mexican Talk”...

A two-seamer from a righthanded pitcher does move away from a left-handed hitter. A cutter would move the other way...a la Mariano Rivera. yeah, you're right...I was backwards in my thinking.... |

Then again, with the size of your hands you might be able to make a fastball whistle dixie and deliver the US Mail on the way by...Just think, at your age, any fastball you throw you can tell people that you throw 90... (: that's funny, inger….yeah...I doubt I could have reached 90 any other way...I am totally left-handed and like some lefties I couldn't throw a straight pitch...guys that I warmed up with sometimes groused a bit if they got hit or a ball got by....if I could have only controlled that, in retrospect, I might have had a chance...but the movement was not repetitive, and college was the better option...and so life goes....regards.. |
