Andujar getting a rest that he doesn't need while Walker is striking out with the bases loaded, meanwhile the A's are breathing down their neck. But he should be rested enough to easily play 36 at the Playa del Sol Country Club in Santo Domingo in October.

I guess the Yankee hitters are having trouble with the shadows while the Jays put 5 runs on the board.

There is an off day on Monday, yet the player with the highest OPS on the team is on the bench today?

Did the same thing in the last Oakland game He also used Chad Green for two innings today with the team down 5 runs, while earlier this week he had the inexperienced Loaisiga in a two run game. He's moves just don't make much sense.

Man, poor defense at 3B has been a problem for the Yankees all season long. Unlike Walker, at least Andujar can hit.

Where did everyone go? Grand slam by Andujar. 8-7 Jays.

Where did everyone go? Grand slam by Andujar. 8-7 Jays. When Boone waved the white flag by bringing in Kahnle, everyone probably thought the game was over. That Andujar is pretty good, maybe he should have started?

Boone uses Green for 2.1, Holder for 1.1, Betances in the 8th and Britton in the 9th. The problem is he got cute in the 7th and went with Kahnle and those 3 runs he gave up killed them. He's been making mistakes like this all season.

He's been making mistakes like this all season. The lineup left a lot of opportunities out there today. CC pitched like crap. So the loss is on the players. But a good manager puts his players and team in a position to win. Boone didn’t do that today. The more I see of him the more clear it is that he doesn’t know what he is doing when it comes to tactical decisions about managing the game. Which is not surprising given that the Yankees hired someone with zero experience at the job. So he’s bad at a job he’s never done before, like most people doing a job they’ve never done before.

He's been making mistakes like this all season. Kahnle is not the same pitcher that he was when the Yankees got him. He's a thrower, and the loss of a few ticks off his fastball has seemingly made his other pitches easier to lay off and him easier to hit. I would have liked to have seen Loaisiga get another chance.

Totally agree. He’s not the same guy and shouldn’t be pitching for them right now.
