Sanchez batting 5th makes no sense with the way he’s been approaching his ABs. Really weird decision.

Sanchez bring suddenly elevated to the number five spot in the lineup looks like a curious choice at first glance. I’m going to assume he’s got great numbers vs. David Price.
As a team, it seems we usually do well against Price. It would be nice if the Yanks can draw early blood today...

Sanchez batting 5th makes no sense with the way he’s been approaching his ABs. Really weird decision. Sort of reading each other’s minds. If you can often read mine, I don’t know whether to pity you or fear you... far too much of it is used as a toy by it’s owner. That is one thing I can assure you of...

My assumption about the Price vs. Sanchez matchup is correct. Sanchez is 6 for 13 vs. Price and 5 of the 6 hits have been HR.
Certainly, even a small sample slash of .462/.588/1.615 for an OPS OF 2.203 will make the casual observer take notice. However, this is a career slash for a hitter who is nowhere near his career track this season. Perhaps the team’s manager would have done better to not count on that kind of production on this stage. Personally, I hope the gamble pays off, but I’m not going to warm up the idea until AFTER he hits a couple of HR off Price today...

Good. I’m pleasantly surprised. I had a feeling he was gone for the year...

Have you posted that Sumo before, Kaybli? If so, I had forgotten it. Hilarious. Reminds me of Robin Williams’ old routine on Ghandi where he called him “Diaper Daddy”...

Have you posted that Sumo before, Kaybli? If so, I had forgotten it. Hilarious. Reminds me of Robin Williams’ old routine on Ghandi where he called him “Diaper Daddy”... Yes, I have. To make it worse, I think I posted the “Diaper Daddy” remembrance before, too. Oh well. If it was funny once the networks keep trying it over and over. Why shouldn’t I? Unless of course, it wasn’t funny the first time. In which case the networks will try it again, anyway... Maybe we can run a dramatic version of “ Diaper Daddy” this time boss! Good idea, son...

Stanton and Sanchez hitting back to back. Huge gamble by Boone.
